Thank you for seven sensational seasons!

Arcadia Chorale would like to share that, after a great deal of reflection, Matthew Rupcich has decided to step down as the ensemble's Music Director.

While we are sad to see him go, we're grateful for Matthew's leadership over the past seven seasons, and especially for his contributions during our Covid-era challenges. His talent and dedication have helped the ensemble evolve to where we are today and we deeply appreciate his significant contributions to our musical life.

We know our audiences will share our gratitude for all he has done to make a positive impact, not just for Arcadia Chorale, but for the entire NEPA region. Please join us in thanking Matthew and wishing him continued success in his next chapter and beyond.

We’re in the early stages of planning a celebration for Matthew that we'll hold in the near future. Check back later for more details about this and other Arcadia Chorale events, including our Designer Purse (and Big Item) BINGO Fundraiser in September. We hope to see you soon!

Summer Sing 2026

This year marked our 5th Summer Sing mini-choral festival. Presented in partnership with the Dr. Steven Thomas Memorial Fund, the annual event brings together singers from our NEPA region and beyond to present choral masterworks during the early summer. Donations to the Memorial Fund help support Summer Sing, and in particular, allow us to provide free registrations and meals to our student singers. Summer Sing 2026

Arcadia Chorale is pleased to announce Dr. Joshua Harper, D.Mus., served as our Guest Music Director for this year's Summer Sing!

Many of our regional friends will recognize Joshua from his work with the Choral Society of Northeast Pennsylvania, of which he is the newly appointed Artistic Director (2024). An inspiring presence and a remarkable musician, Joshua also leads the Choral Ensembles at Wilkes University and is the founder and Artistic Director of the professional chamber choir, Quartz Ensemble. We're thrilled he's bringing his talents to Summer Sing!
